After knocking off the previously undefeated St Albert’s College, the Barbarians added another victory to their name.

The Baa Baas travelled up to Glen Innes to take on the GhostStags. From the get-go the visitors dominated.

The Barbarians ran in three unanswered tries before Glen-Guyra kicked into gear. Late in the game Glen-Guyra managed to sneak back into the game and scored a late try brought the scoreline to 15-14 in favour of the visitors.

Glen-Guyra player Henry Burridge credited the Baa Baas to holding on and said it was a tough contest.

“We had a bit of motivation because we played them twice before in games we could have won,” he said.

“I think in the two games we played them previously we let go of bigger chances than this game but that was their best football they played in the three games we played.”

This Saturday the Barbarians face Robb College who are coming off a loss to Albies.
