They choose the recipient of the monthly honour based on their contribution to on and off the field areas of the sport.
Northern NSW Football announced volunteer Harwood as Northern Inland Football’s Newcastle Permanent Community Coach of the Month for May.
James was nominated by DKFC for his commitment to a number of teams over the duration of his service to the club.
“It is very pleasing to be able to recognise James for displaying the attitudes and behaviours that NNSWF is trying to instill in all Community Coaches,” NNSWF community football manager Peter Haynes commented.
“Providing an effective learning environment in a safe and fun way is key to Demon Knights providing a positive football experience to their players and James should be commended for his commitment to the club and the team.”
Newcastle Permanent Armidale Lending Manager Colleen Chaffey congratulates James on becoming the recipient of the Newcastle Permanent Coach of the Month Award.
“Coaching plays a vital role in developing the skills and attitude of young players, and it is great that Newcastle Permanent can provide the opportunity to recognise the efforts of local coaches who are dedicated to developing their players,” she said.
James will receive a coaching pack inclusive of balls, markers, bibs, whistle, polo shirt and cap courtesy of major sponsor Newcastle Permanent to assist them in continuing to fulfill their valuable coaching role at the club.
