Pedlow hit two into the back of the net in the opening 20 minutes, along with a third later on, against South Armidale which helped the side to their second consecutive win.
Jake Davies came on for Easts late in the game to earn a double and seal the 5-2 win.
Captain Trent Irwin said the addition of the two strike players helped the team present a formidable attack but mistakes in the defence let down the side’s aim to keep a clean sheet.
“We just kept possession well, tried to remain patient,” he said.
“Everything clicked, especially in the first 20 minutes, we came out fairly strong from the first whistle and Brent managed to score the first two goals.
“Souths started to settle in the game quite well, they are not a bad team by any means.
“The good thing for us is we managed to put five goals past them so we are looking quite strong in attack now.
“It was disappointing to concede a couple of soft goals and it probably should have been a shut out but just a couple of simple errors at the back.
“It is just good to get a couple of back-to-back wins and hopefully we can keep the roll on from here.”
The roll could continue this Saturday when they take on Demon Knights, who trounced Inverell Joeys in the recent round 6-nil.
Easts sit three points below DK on the ladder and a win could bolster their chances at rising to the top four.
The side’s points differential could hinder their chances and Irwin said his team are looking at every game as a do-or-die clash.
“We are sort of in a pretty tight battle with them as well as Tamworth FC for who is going to take out that final spot,” Irwin said.
“It is a must win encounter for both of us.
“Every match we are looking at is a must win.”
