Officers have been probing the confrontation in the Domino’s takeaway store in the Girraween shopping village on May 7.
“Following investigations by general duties police, officers charged three women, a man and a juvenile with affray and assault offences,” New England Inspector Roger Best told The Leader.
“Officers have been reviewing CCTV from the incident and further arrests are expected.”
The five are accused of attacking a 27-year-old man who ran into the store to escape another man.
“This was violent and completely unacceptable behaviour. It occurred in front of families and it won’t be tolerated,” Inspector Best said.
“We will continue our inquiries until all offenders have been identified and placed before the court.”
The five will front court in June.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding an argument that broke out in Golgotha St about 11.50am on the day between a 27-year-old man and a 45-year-old man.
One of the men suffered a stab wound to his arm.
Investigations continue.
