Gary Cluss secured the first win of the day when Sunburnt Ysabel romped home over the 365m Radio Station 2AD maiden.
The Melissa Griffin-trained Hastag Ted was too quick for Joseph Gatty’s Djays Ricochet in the North Hill Vet maiden over 365m.
The Armidale Express stakes 365m race saw Cluss earn his second win with Thief. Peter Midson walked away with the goods in the Race Day Workers stakes when Diddy Riot beat Rodney Marlow’s Third Twin to the line.
Albert Zarb’s Blusta Valley denied the Melanie Mabbot-trained Tralee Maz a win in the 365m in race five.
Grand Stimo delivered Michael Mcguire a whopping seven length-victory in the Many Thanks Greg, Garry Trevor Stakes.
Gary Streatfield was back in the winner’s box once again at an Armidale meet when Saga Noren denied Cluss his third win for the day. Streatfield won the following race when Flying Sovereign beat Foxy Tralee over 440m.
Justified earned Terry Riley a win in the final race.
