In what coach Sam Ditchfield described as their most physical match this season, Robb College managed to outmuscle the newly combined Glen Innes-Guyra side to post a 24-point win.

The opening stages were played in the middle of the field and the students grinded out a 12-5 halftime advantage.
The visiting side came out in the second half all guns blazing but the perseverance of Robb’s defence payed off as they didn’t allow their opponents to post another point and win 29-5.
"They started very well after halftime, they really put a big surge on and our blokes held them well and countered that with a big kick downfield which bounced into touch and then we were attacking and then we got some more points,” Ditchfield said.
"Our defence won it, they kept running their big guys at us all day but our blokes just kept tackling them.”
While they were on the wrong end of the scoreboard this time round, Ditchfield is wary of the potential the GhostStags have with some of the quality in their lineup.
"I would be looking out for them later in the season because they have some very good footballers in the team and they are not as fit as some of the Armidale teams but that will come with playing footy,” he said.
"They had some very good players coming off the bench that played in that Guyra second grade side last year.
"I guess they just need to get some training under their belt and some time together and they will win more then they lose. They are definitely the most physical side we have played.”
