Following the march, the Anzac Day ceremony took place at the cenotaph in Central Park.
Earlier in the day, hundreds were at the cenotaph for the dawn service, where The Last Post echoed through the park as locals took a moment to reflect on the historical losses that have afforded them freedoms.

Meanwhile, a former TAS student who founded the charity Soldier On has spoken about the loss of a schoolmate who was killed in Afghanistan, which prompted him to create the charity.
