The latest recipients include the Armidale City Band, the Armidale Community Carevan and Young Life Uralla.
The Armidale City Band will use the money to engage a music director.
Carevan project officer Liz Williams said the money will also be used to buy shirts for volunteers.
“It’s just amazing to receive this money, at the moment we serve about 25 to 45 meals a night and some of that money will be used for food,” she said.
“Many of the people who come to the Carevan tell us we spoil them and now we can continue to do that.”
Young Life received $3000 and the runners-up were given $1000.
