Four generations of the one family isn’t something you see everyday, we know we have something special.
- Peter Bourke
Peter Bourke took his son Reuben to meet with Mr Keller for the first time and said the family was very excited.
“Reuben found Ur Opa very funny, they were playing together a lot,” he said.
“Four generations of the one family isn’t something you see everyday, we know we have something special.”
Mr Keller moved to Australia from Germany and his daughter Helga grew up in Walcha.
“We hadn’t been to see Ur Opa in years and we wanted him to meet Reuben, so we decided to drive from Townsville where we live to Armidale,” Mr Bourke said.
“Ur Opa was very excited to meet Reuben, the two of them kept doing funny things together.
“He [Ur Opa] speaks with a thick German accent and Reuben found that very funny, we had to stop Reuben from climbing all over Ur Opa’s stairs and furniture in his big house.”
