The hill overlooking the winery has dried out nicely, ready for hundreds of festival-goers expected to flock to the event.
ADOTG promoter Michael Newton said Armidale was such a fantastic location.
“We always enjoy coming to Petersons Winery,” he said.
“There’s always a buzz around town for the weekend … which is great for all the local businesses.”
It is the 5th year the event has come to Armidale and this year Mark Gable, Thirsty Merc, and Wendy Matthews headline an all-star lineup.
“There are so many great artists and so many classic hits," Mr Newton said.
Gates open at 3pm and rock singer Swanee will kick things off at 4pm.
