KidFit is the brainchild of Healthy Inspirations and will run for free over the course of the school holidays.
Michelle Turner from Healthy Inspirations said the program is a great option for kids that aren’t fussed on team sports.
“The reason we chose to develop a program like KidFit was that not a lot of children actually enjoy team sports, a lot of children are more academic or arts minded and their parents know that they've got to be active but they don't necessarily want to engage in soccer, tennis, hockey, swimming, any of those things or school PE,” she said.
“The idea is giving children an active place where they can come and work out in a safe, controlled environment, we base it on the school term.”
The classes run for 45 minutes and are cardio driven.
Ms Turner said the class helps the kids learn a range of skills.
"We're helping them build their team-building skills, they're engaging with their peers in different ages, we're working on their socialisation, their gross motor, their fine motor, their communication in a fun engaging way,” she said.
“It's all about the kids having fun in an environment that doesn't make them feel like they're actually in a controlled structured environment.”
The program will run in the mall until October 7 and a KidFit class also runs through the school term.
