The incident occurred at around 11:30am.
Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Witnesses on a picnic table nearby reported the incident as shocking.
"We couldn't believe it, we were just enjoying our morning coffee.
"It's really very sad," the witness said.
