It was a thrilling final home game for the hosts, with TAS number eight Henry Coldham scoring the first try of the match.
Within the next 10 minutes TAS would cross the line again twice with both converted to take the score to 19-0.
Lachlan Cruickshank crossed the line before half time, taking the scoreboard to 24-0 at the break.
Minutes into the second half Harry Maxwell put the bull down under the posts, before two later tries to Callan Creighton and a second in the back to Lachlan Cruickshank.
Coach Alan Jones said the strong result was a reward for rigorous training in the days before and the team maintained a discipline throughout the match that paid off.
“This game was really important to the boys who were determined to put on a good show for their last home game for the season as well as being Old Boys’ weekend,” he said.
“It was particularly pleasing to see the patience the boys showed on the field, sticking to their structure and working through the phases of play to enable the game plan to work.
“Every pass stuck even with that strong wind, and for Eddie Pitt to convert three from seven was outstanding.”
TAS heads off to Sydney for the last two games of the season, against Sydney Boys’ High on July 30 and at St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill the week after.
