Although the side hasn’t won a game this season, they are slowly building on their performances and are putting points on the board.

The Rams were defeated by the Gunnedah Bulldogs at home on Sunday, however Carson believes the side has plenty of points in the.

But poor decisions in defence have cost them. 

“They are just getting better and better and more confident,” he said. 

“It is hard to believe it is the same side.

“We started pretty well.

“We scored first and in the first 10 to15 minutes it was a really good arm wrestle. 

“They just got a bit of a roll on and we didn’t touch the ball for 25 minutes.

“They just kept scoring. We just weren’t good enough to stop them.”

While the first grade side hasn’t tasted success this season, the future is looking positive with the club’s under 18s side only losing one game so far. 

“The under 18s are going really well,” Carson said.

“Another big win on the weekend.

“They are going really well but have got a couple of big tests coming up.

“They have the two hardest teams coming up now. 

“They have only lost the one game to North Tamworth so far but we have them up here in a couple of weeks so hopefully we can them back.”

The Rams travel to Narrabri this weekend to take on the Blues.
