The new equipment was donated by Uralla resident Paul Simmons who gifted the 12 bikes to the disadvantaged youth farm. Mr Simmons said it was important for the community to support programs like the farm.
“I am hopeful these bikes will give the youngsters here some freedom and fun,” he said.
“I’m hoping to donate more bikes in the near future as well.”
The bikes will be used by the youth involved in Pathfinders and part of a future plan to create mountain bike trails on the station.
Station manager Charlie Winter said it was wonderful to see such strong public support for Pathfinders.
“It is a testament to the program and how well it is being received by the community,” Mr Winter said.
