The elusive father and son duo Gino and Mark Stocco have been slapped with more charges for allegedly torching a machinery shed in central western NSW.

The pair had been on the run for eight years before police caught up with them on a rural property north-east of Dubbo in central western NSW last October.

Police surrounded the Pinevale property and arrested the Stoccos in dramatic scenes before finding the decomposing body of the property caretaker, 68-year-old Rosario Cimone.

​The manhunt for the pair had ramped up 12 days earlier when they allegedly shot at police outside Wagga Wagga.

The Stoccos were charged with a string of offences, including murder, police pursuit and attempted murder.

Now Gino, 58, and Mark, 36, have been hit with fresh charges relating to a fire that destroyed a machinery shed in Canowindra in August 2014.

The shed was on a property owned by the Tidswells, who bought the land where the Stoccos had lived as caretakers in 2011.

Donna Tidswell has previously said the Stoccos had been asked to leave their accommodation by the previous owners.

The Stoccos are due to front Dubbo Local Court for two counts of destroying property by fire on January 20.

The Stoccos were wanted by police as they crisscrossed Australia for years, picking up odd jobs and allegedly stealing and disputing with property owners.
