Winanga-Li Aboriginal Child and Family Centre ability linker Joel Griffiths said the rally was organised after residents raised concerns about drug and alcohol abuse.
The rally began at Central Park, with protesters taking a stand against drug and alcohol abuse.
“We designed this as a supportive rally to help anyone who is affected by drug and alcohol abuse that we are here for them,” Mr Griffiths said.
The march also showcased services available to those fighting addictions.
Following the march, community members heard speeches from guest speakers and enjoyed a free barbecue in Civic Park from 12pm to 2pm.
