The tiny humans were having a play date at the Curtis Park when The Express caught up with them, running amok around the playground.
Lucky for them, the forecast is shaping up nicely for more play dates for the rest of the week.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted the mercury will rise to a maximum of 18 degrees tomorrow and 14 degrees on Thursday.
While an 80 per cent of rain on Thursday may dampen spirits, the weekend will be clear and sunny with a maximum of 15 degrees on Saturday.
Sunday will be slightly warmer with a top of 17 degrees predicted.
Bureau of Meteorology senior climatologist Agata Imielska said it was difficult to predict a long-term forecast for spring, but she did have some good news.
“The weather will favour warmer night-time temperatures similar to what it is during the day,” she said.
