The New England Highway and Oxley Highway have reopened, however traffic is affected in Murrurundi.

Regional Express (Rex) flights into and out of Armidale today have been delayed by the snow and poor weather conditions.
A spokeswoman from Res told customers to keep their phones handy.
"Res is continually monitoring the conditions at all affected airports and is implementing plans to minimise disruptions to passengers," she said.
"Passengers are being kept informed by the Rex Customer Contact Centre and at the airports."

Paramedics are urging communities across NSW to take extra care as the cold snap and wild weather creates dangerous conditions across much of the state with over 20 accidents already reported.
Power:
Essential Energy is urging the motorists and public to be cautious of crews working on the electricity network.
“Motorists are asked to remain vigilant when travelling in icy conditions and watch out for emergency response crews who will have fog and hazard lights operating but could be difficult to see,” Manager community relations Northern, David Crough said.
Roads:
The Oxley Highway still remains closed between Bendemeer and Walcha in both directions and the New England between Glen Innes and Moonbi.
Transport:
Armidale Airport remains closed but traveller's are advised to ring airlines to check flight status.
Council:
The Armidale Dumaresq Council have confirmed that business is as usual without any services or road closures around town.

Due to extreme snow and ice conditions across the west and the north of NSW motorists and travellers are currently advised to avoid or delay their travel.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued severe weather warnings for damaging winds and snow to 500 metres.
SES NSW recommends homeowners check their roof is in good condition, trim branches that are overhanding and secure any loose items outside.
"“People should avoid driving on closed highways and be sensible in driving,” Armidale SES Unit Controller Josh Osbourne said.
Local police are urging motorists to exercise extreme caution on the roads and avoid travel where possible.
Road closures
The New England Highway is closed between Admidale and Glen Innes due to the conditions. There is no forecast as to when the road will reopen.
The Oxley Highway is also in the process of closing between Bendemeer and Walcha with crews on site putting closures in place.
Transport:
The Armidale Airport is closed with some flights cancelled.
