The Mann Cup will be played at Doody Park tomorrow and Sunday, with six teams vying for the trophy.
An additional three teams will compete for the Third Grade Cup over the two days.
Northern Inland Premier League Clubs East Armidale and Inverell’s Joeys FC are the two big name sides in the 2015 Mann Cup.
NIPL club South Armidale will also field a team, but with their top side taking on North Armidale on the second round of the FFA Cup, the Scorpions won’t be at full strength for the Mann Cup.
East Armidale will also field their reserve grade team in the top division, with Guyra and North’s United rounding out the six sides.
In the Third Grade Cup Glen Innes and Ex-Services Westside join another East Armidale side to battle for the trophy.
Both the Mann and Third Grade Cup competitions will be contested as round robin fixtures.
In the Mann Cup Guyra, South Armidale and East Armidale 1 will contest one pool on Saturday and Norths United, Joeys FC and East Armidale two have been drawn to play in the other.
The top two teams from each pool will then contest the semi-final on Sunday morning with losing semi-final teams to play for the Consolation Cup.
Following the Mann Cup final on Sunday afternoon South Armidale and North Armidale will go head to head in a blockbuster FFA Cup second round match.
The two were the top two Armidale sides in the 2014 NIPL and will be desperate to advance to the next round of the national competition.
