They will accompany special guests Canta Libre at a Latin dance night hosted at Impies.
Band manager Francesa Tafra said the event, to be held on February 6, was timed to coincide with the first term of the New England Latin Dance school’s classes.
“Teachers Angelo and Valeria take a couple of guest spots to demonstrate some of the latin styles,” Ms Tafra said.
Angelo is originally from Peru and Valeria from Argentina.
“They are very passionate about their culture and decided to share some Latin dance movements with the Armidale community, particularly styles such as salsa, bachatta and merengue, which are fun to dance,” Ms Tafra said.
The fun begins at 9pm.
“When Angelo and I met during Jesus Christ Superstar rehearsals last year and him and Val were planning their lessons, it was too good an opportunity to miss and that’s how the band SoulSa came into being.” Ms Tafra said.
The door charge is $5.
