The rented home was the scene of a party held from 11am to 9pm, according to neighbours.  

Loud music continued throughout the day, sparking complaints from residents in Newling Gardens.

Many were horrified when, yesterday, they awoke to find their street filled with empty bottles,  discarded cans and other litter strewn in the front garden and on the street verges.

UNE criminology student Ryan Harris, 20, said the party became messy when more than 40 people turned up. 

The tenants were told yesterday by rangers to clean up the mess.
