It’s been nearly six weeks since students last passed through the school gates, prompting the NSW Department of Education to publish a back-to-school checklist for parents on its website.

Meanwhile, Drummond school captain Tristan Green said he would try stick to his election promise to raise money for cheaper school excursions. His friends also called for less homework.
