I HAD the good fortune to know Annette Chappell very well, and the privilege to call her my very dear friend.

I did not always enjoy good mental health, and when I was feeling rough Annette was only too happy to give me a massage, and listen to my worries.
I received in the mail a copy of the Liturgy and Last Mass for her, and also a copy of her beautifully written eulogy which brought tears to my eyes. Even in her last days it was typical of Annette’s thoughtfulness to ask Maree to send me a thank you card, and I quote “Thank you for being a special friend, so faithful encouraging me with your cards and letters. With love Annette”.
That card will reside in a drawer where I keep special precious things. She always signed off on her cards with, “All will be well”.
Annette was a truly beautiful and compassionate person who will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
