Michael Booby is facing 19 charges for three separate matters relating to aggravated break and enter, and driving offences.
Armidale Local Court heard on Wednesday the police were still compiling their evidence against Booby.
This included DNA analysis, which was expected to be complete within three weeks.
In one of the matters Booby is facing 16 charges, seven of which relate to aggravated break and enter and being in possession of housebreaking implements.
Within this matter he was alleged to have led officers in a police pursuit where he failed to stop, was driving recklessly and had resisted arrest. Booby was also charged with two counts of taking and driving a vehicle without consent, driving without ever being licenced, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving recklessly or speeding in a dangerous manner, and negligent driving.
The second matter related to a count of aggravated break and enter, commit a serious indictable offence – people there and stalking and intimidation.
The third was a charge of break, enter and steal to the value of less than $60,000.
His defence indicated to the magistrate the possibility of proceeding to a committal hearing when the matter returned to court.
This process would determine whether there is enough evidence to continue to sentencing.
Booby’s case will return to court on September 17.
