Then jump on board Armidale Dumaresq’s free bus next week for a guided tour of Council facilities.
The tours have been organised by Council to mark Local Government Week and include some of Armidale’s lesser known council-run services such as the Waste Transfer Centre and Sewer Treatment Plant.
Armidale Dumaresq mayor Laurie Bishop said it was an opportunity for ratepayers to see the diversity of Council services.
The tours will start on Thursday, August 7 from 10am to noon. Bookings are essential.
