A large crowd of young artists, their friends, family and art-loving supporters were in attendance at the opening of this year’s Let’s Hang It! exhibition at the New England Regional Art Museum on Friday night. Let’s Hang It! is an exhibition of work produced by the finalists in the University of New England Schools Acquisitive Art Prize.
“The atmosphere on the night was fun and supportive and a great reflection of the quality and energy that each young artist has put into their art work,” said Caroline Downer, director of the New England Regional Art Museum.
There were 545 entries from across New South Wales to UNESAP 2014. The work of 61 finalists was selected to be a part of this year’s Let’s Hang It! exhibition.
