Rotarians from Armidale, Guyra and Uralla
combined to welcome their incoming District Governor, Brian Beesley, at a
dinner held recently at the Ex Services Club.
Brian outlined his goals for his year as
Governor; one of which was to double the number of Rotarians in our district.
His wife Heather nominated the Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s own charity, as her
project for the partner’s program.
Included in the guests at the dinner was
Armidale Rotary’s current exchange student from Norway, and two candidates for
Rotary’s Group Study Exchange program; a vocational program for young
professionals, which is funded by the Rotary Foundation.
