Two cafés have cooked up a success story, scooping major awards at the Armidale Business Awards on Friday night.
The Gold Fish Bowl Bakery won the top gong for Business of the Year after also winning the Cafés/Restaurants category.
Another CBD café, Fat Goose Crossing, took out the prize in the New Business category.
The annual awards saw 18 awards presented to members of the local business community.
The New England Enterprising Woman award went to Tammy Homewood from Healthy Inspirations, a weight-loss centre specifically targeting women.
The awards were presented at a black-tie event hosted at TAS’ Michael Hoskins Centre, with more than 180 local businesses nominated.
