The cox four team, made up of Harry McKinnon 17, Tim Sewell 18, James Kennelly 17 and Harrison Grant 18, will compete against seven GPS schools in the 2km fours event.
The head of the river event is halfway through the nine race program at Penrith and TAS rowing master Will Caldwell said he is confident his team will give it everything it has.
"I don't want to put too much pressure on them to perform on the day but I have absolute confidence they'll give everything they've got," he said.
"Most of our competitiors on the day will have been rowing for the past four years and we're in our first season but our team members are true athletes as well as being determined and physically strong."
The rowers have been training at Malpas Dam as well as the school's own dam and in the TAS gym ahead of tomorrow's big race.
TAS rower Harrison Grant said regularly rowing with his teammates has brought them closer together.
"We've been rowing together three or four times a week and that has really made us closer together," he said. "We've spent more time together than we normally would which has help us."
Grant said the most crucial aspect to tomorrow's race would be having a positive outlook.
"For us to do well we have to have a positive mindset and look to improve on every stroke we do during tomorrow's event," he said.
