Wild weather fails to halt Greyhounds

A decent sized crowd turned out to the Armidale Greyhound meet on Saturday despite some very cold and windy conditions. Ten races provided ten different winners.

Local trainers faired well with the Robert Bray trained Cool Gids winning race one for the Uralla trainer. Armidale’s Denis Nixon won race two with his dog Kikem State, while the Gary Carson trained Lady Razorback took the honours in race eight.
