Some of Armidale’s best junior cyclists will saddle up tomorrow for the Armidale club’s Junior Championships.
The championships are shaping up to be a close contest with no standout favorite to take the title.
Peter Wilkinson, from the club, has seen the riders go from strength to strength over the past six months.
“The junior club championships will be one of the most exciting races of the year with six or more riders all capable of grabbing the crown, for who ever wins it will be well deserved,” Wilkinson said.
The championships will be held at the traffic education centre from 2pm tomorrow, and spectators are welcome to attend.
The club will also play host to the rebirth of an inter club challenge between Armidale Cycling Club and Tamworth Cycling Club on November 29 and 30.
The first race will be a criterium held at the traffic education centre on the Saturday, starting from 2pm, followed by a criterium on the Sunday morning in Tamworth.
