Round two of Armidale cricket's Twenty20 is on tonight with Hutchinson and Harlow and Cricket New England playing from 5.30pm.
The second match between McDonalds and Sportspower starts at 7.15pm. Last week's opening round of Twenty20 was cancelled because of rain. Armidale cricket's John Croft said it is likely the opening round will be played in coming weeks.
"We'll probably play round one after round three and then host the final the following week," he said.
Northern Inland Twenty20
The Northern Inland Twenty20 competition that was also abandoned last Sunday is likely to be played in Tamworth, all on one day in coming weeks.

Hillgrove will look to increase its lead against third placed City when the two sides battle tomorrow at the Sportsground.
Hillgrove, who lead the two day cricket competition on 14 points, with two wins, have clearly been the dominant side with the bat, amassing 751 runs, with TAS its nearest rival with 416.
That, however, will matter for little with City needing a win to stay in touch with second placed TAS 12, with both Easts and Ex Servies, (9) both breathing down their necks.
Meanwhile Easts and Ex Servies will both look to leap frog each other off the bottom of the two day table with neither side having secured a win in the longer form, and frustratingly each having suffered three no results because of rain.
Those two sides will play at Lambert Park.
Armidale ready for Narrabri
Armidale Dumaresq Colts' representative season has reached crunch time with the side set to face Narrabri on Sunday in an away match.
It was thought Armidale finished first in the eastern conference but a review saw Tamworth claim top spot based solely on net run rate. Tamworth's 0.955 saw them pip Armidale 0.824 after the two sides met in the final round just weeks ago. Tamworth's comprehensive win that day over Armidale enabled them to leapfrog their rival.
It is expected, if Armidale does overcome Narrabri, and Tamworth also wins its semi-final, the two sides will face off in the final in Tamworth. Colts coach Doug Moore said he is conscious his side is defending champions and he wants his outfit to put in a strong performance in Narrabri.
“They'll definitely be a tough side to beat at home," he said.
"They’ve finished unbeaten in their pool but we think we have a bowling attack, that if we stick to tight lines and lengths we can perform okay.
"We need to have good intensity in the field and restrict them where we can with the bat."
The Colts side is likely to consist of the following players: Aaron Whackett, Michael Dawson, Matt Jackson, Hugh Reeves, Scott Brennan, Michael Allen, Hugh Reckord, Adam Croft, Sam Uphill, Adam Spaven, Matt Wykniet and Jared Veall.
