LEADING geologist and author Professor Ian Plimer will return to Armidale to address local cattle producers and interested participants on his perspective on climate change.
The Ebor Beef Group will host the annual ‘Steakholders’ Forum’ at the Armidale Bowling Club on Friday, at 1pm.

These provide a global perspective on matters affecting the Australian beef industry.
Prof Plimer is Australia’s best known geologist.
He provides a science-based perspective to the current political debate within the international community and the effects on our environment of global climate change.
His recently published book Heaven + Earth, Global Warming: The Missing Science has received wide acclaim.
Prof Plimer is a leading historian of climate change, and takes his evidence from the layers of rocks.
He strongly challenges the prevailing theory of human-induced global warming.
Prof Plimer was previously an academic member of staff at UNE and has published more than 120 scientific papers on geology.
The forum will offer an opportunity for open questions to Prof Plimer at the conclusion of his address.
