Armidale accounting and financial advisory business Forsyths has opened its new offices in style.
Dozens of guests, including Member for Northern Tablelands and Speaker of the House, Richard Torbay, along with local business community figures and clients, helped staff at the firm celebrate the opening of the Rusden Street office on Thursday.
The team at Forsyths were privileged to have Roy Forsyth, the son of the founder Colonel WS Forsyth and the last Forsyth family member to work in the firm, to officially cut the ribbon and open the new office.
Forsyths had called Faulkner St home since 1921 and the move to Rusden St marks a new chapter in their continued progression.
The new offices are more spacious and modern, reflecting the professionalism of the team and the support and advice that they provide. The open plan environment, coupled with up to date technology and modern outlook, has been well received by clients, staff and the general public.
“The move has been extremely positive, a move driven by growth which we believe will ensure we continue to be recognised as the premier accounting firm in the region,” said Andrew Kirk, principal.
“It is certainly a change from the previous premises but the people and the level of service remains the same.”
Mr Torbay congratulated Forsyths on their continued growth and demonstration of a strong commitment to the region. He said this was evident by the opening of three new offices across the region in the past four years.
The move reinforces Forsyths commitment to being a part of Armidale, providing a wide range of business and financial advice. They continue to be locally owned, locally managed with all services provided by local members of the community.
