Uralla Central School held its own spelling bee earlier in the year. Students were eager to participate and shone in front if their fellow students and parents.

From this spelling bee, four students were selected to compete in the Premier’s Spelling Bee against other schools from the region, in Armidale.

Jarrod Hourigan, Patrick Doran, Sam Valentine and Emilia Russell were the successful participants.

All students competed in the Premier’s Spelling Bee in Armidale.

All students did an outstanding job and Emilia Russell won her division and will now compete against other successful participants in the state.

She will participate in the competition in Sydney on Tuesday..
